Application Checklist

• Aim for the appropriate GPA - typically 3.0 or higher 
• Choose 2-3 individuals and request letters of recommendation. At least one reference should be a professor
• Draft a statement of purpose. Have it reviewed by CPD and the Writing Center
• Sign up and take admissions test. Look for CPD emails regarding free practice exams
• Request transcripts
• Apply – read all instructions carefully, follow directions and meet deadlines

Finance your Education

• Browse and research fellowships, loans, assistantships, grants, and work-study options. Many require a separate application process.
• Remember to fill out of the FAFSA.
